Mr. Gopal Sultania – The Pioneer of “Devika Group” Industries established and introduced “Devika Polyester Private Limited” under the Sizing Industry in the year 1992, with an initial production capacity of 25 MT/Month.
With the vision to build “Devika Groups” as one of the leading manufacturers in the textile industry, Mr. Gopal Sultania expanded the group and established “Devika Fibres Private Limited” in the year 1993. After accomplishing a name for itself in the Sizing Industry, he expanded the business operations in Polyester Texturizing under the name “Devika Polyster Private Limited” in the year 1997. The Polyester Texturizing operations were initially started with 90 MT/Month production capacity and with time the group has grown in terms of both its production capacity and name.

Our Babuji Shri Ramavtar Sultania had the vision to start his very own small unit of sizing in Surat, Gujarat. As there were few manufacturing entities in the business of sizing, he wanted to seize this opportunity and leave an impact that people remembered him for ages to come. He sowed the seeds of entrepreneurship in the family which led his sons, Mr. Gopal Sultania and Mr. Ashok Sultania to take the initiative to enter into the industry and capture the opportunity when there were a few manufacturing entities established in the business of sizing.
The pioneer of the company, Mr Gopal Sultania founded and introduced Devika Group in the sizing industry under the name of ‘Devika Polyester Private Limited’ in the year 1992. In a few months of time, Devika group grew its production capacity upto 300 MT per annum and successfully worked towards a full-fledged as a growing company in the Surat textile industry.
After the successful establishment of the company, Mr. Ashok Sultania joined the company and together the Sultania Brothers with their impeccable efforts took the group to the next level of growth & production as well as growth of the company.
The Sultania brothers took the courageous steps to venture into polyester textured yarn vertical to establish the manufacturing plant in Kim, Surat, Gujarat with bigger units with a full fledged manufacturing facility.
Devika Group expanded “Devika Polyester Pvt Ltd’’ in the productions and captured the huge market share in the growing textile industry and as a company expanded with our very 1St Texturizing machine at our Kim Plant Surat Gujarat. We grew our sizing production with 8 machines amounting to 3600 MT per annum and DTY production with 2 machines with 1000 MT per annum till the year 1999.
Devika group decided to increase its production 3600 MT per annum and started the operations of polyester Texturizing business under the name ‘Devika Fibres Pvt. Ltd.’ expanded its operations and capacity to 12000 MT per annum.
Devika Group moved towards the need for green energy and demands nature to move to green energy. Our first windmill of 0.60 MW capacity was installed in the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. The vision and hard work put into building finally started paying off.
Devika Polyester Pvt Ltd company merged into Devika Fibers Pvt Ltd became the core company in 2009.
Devika Group achieved the capacity of highest production of 18000 MT tons ever in a year. The company is moving towards achievable goals. We came up with another expansion of the company with our 1st Air Texturising Machine.
2014 was the year of biggest changes and growth for us . Devika group expanded to four more air texturized machines, with the total production of 18000 tons annually for the ATY vertical. The Devika group expanded the production capacity of Devika Fibers Pvt Ltd to 30000MT per annum. The Devika Group is now crowned as one of the most leading textile groups with 19 DTY Machines and 16 ATY Machines serving thousands of customers domestic as well as global.
